inFamous: The Coolest Looking Game of '09.

Sucker Punch is moving on from their familiar Sly Cooper titles with the upcoming PS3 exclusive inFAMOUS. Without a doubt, it is the coolest looking video game of the year. You play as Cole, the only survivor within the blast radius of an enormous explosion that wiped out six blocks of Empire City, and you have been gifted (or cursed) with electric superpowers. The city instantly falls apart after the explosion, and has been quarantined by the government because of a quickly spreading plague infecting most of the residents. Criminals take over the streets. It is now entirely up to you to either save the city from utter destruction...or do the exact opposite.

Okay, so not only do the graphics look amazing... (look below!)... but the game is probably one of the only superhero games in history not to be based on a comic book/movie hero. And the storyline and basis of the game play is really interesting too. Doesn't Sucker Punch always succeed at making a great storyline? And to add to all of this the game is a free roam sandbox game!!!! Well, I've been anticipating this game a LOT, (why wouldn't I) and on the very date I post this message, we have just 6 and 2/3rds months to go. (The game is scheduled to come out May 1st '09.)
